Every April/May, the locals of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs celebrate their Swiss and Italian heritage with five days of singing, dancing and feasting.

Daylesford ChillOut

MARCH

Taking place over four days every March Labour Day long weekend, and with guests drawn from across Australia and beyond, ChillOut is the largest gay and lesbian festival in rural and regional Australia.

The Boite Singers Festival

JANUARY

A world music extravaganza, this week long January event attracts singer-songwriters, choirs and musicians from all over Australia.

Anderson's Mill Food Wine and All That Jazz

APRIL

Held in Smeaton, in the historic Anderson's Mill, this April event features local produce, regional wines, and Australia's best trad-jazz combos.

Lavandula Harvest Festival

MAY

The Lavandula lavender farm in Shepherd's Flat is a wonderful event at harvest time in May when troubadours serenade all-comers.

Daylesford Highland Gathering

DECEMBER

Scottish pipe bands blow up a storm for two days every December. The event also includes traditional highland games, feasting and dancing.

Glenlyon Food and Wine Fayre

JULY

For one glorious day in July, Glenlyon plays host to dozens of the region's fresh food producers and winemakers.

Words in Winter Festival

AUGUST

For four day in August, enjoy this wonderful words event with programs scheduled throughout the region in a variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs etc. Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Trentham and Clunes

Flower Fiesta

NOVEMBER

Celebrate the floral aspirations from the local community on the third weekend in November. Flowers shows, speakers, dinners, garden walks, guided forest tours. Hepburn Springs and region.
